New Wave vs Energy Mix #49

A "New Wave vs Energy mix" is a DJ mix where songs alternate between a new wave track and an energy track. So instead of staying in one genre, as with the Nonstop Energy mixes or the Nonstop New Wave mixes, I'm blending genres back-and-forth in order to create unique transitions.

This mix continues from New Wave vs Energy Mix #48, which I made several years ago.

Playlist:
1. Bad Boys Blue - I Totally Miss You (7" Mix)
2. Chris Lake feat. Emma Hewitt - Carry Me Away (Original Club Mix)
3. Paul Lekakis - You Blow Me Away (12" Vocal Mix)
4. Crew 7 - Eye Of The Tiger (Sunset Crew Remix)
5. Depeche Mode - Pleasure, Little Treasure (Razormaid Mix)
6. Tabledancers - Obsession (Stan Remix)
7. Erasure - Blue Savannah (Out Of The Blue Mix)
8. Erika Jayne - Stars (Moto Blanco Remix)

Erika Jayne - Stars (Moto Blanco Dub)

Nonstop Energy Mix #54

Happy Hump Day! I thought I'd post my newest DJ mix today instead of waiting for Happy Friday. I may have another mix ready by Friday, but no guarantees.

This is a 30-minute set of energy tracks. It's a continuation mix, picking up where Nonstop Energy Mix #53 left off.

Playlist:
1. Haddaway - What Is Love (Lunaris Mix)
2. Rachel Stevens - Some Girls (Europa XL Vocal Mix)
3. Linkin Park - Shadow Of The Day (Abbott & Chambers Remix)
4. September - Cry For You (Spencer & Hill Remix)
5. Erika Jayne - Stars (Moto Blanco Dub)
6. Plumb - In My Arms (Bronleewe & Bose Extended Mix)

Erika Jayne - Stars (Moto Blanco Remix)

This is track 4 on Nonstop Energy Mix #50.

I really dig this track, but only this Moto Blanco remix. The other remixes of the song are bad, in my opinion...and not bad as in good. This also hit #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Nonstop Energy Mix #50

Happy Friday! To that end, here's my latest DJ mix, a 30-minute set of energy tracks.

If you told me last month I'd be using a Paris Hilton tune in one of my mixes, I'd have had a good belly laugh (and really, don't we all need one of those every now and then?). But after hearing this song, I must admit that I like it... so in it goes. The same could be said of using a Celine Dion tune...and Jennifer Lopez too...

This is a "continuation mix", meaning it picks up where Nonstop Energy Mix #49 left off.

Playlist:
1. Kate Ryan - Voyage Voyage (Crew 7 Extended Mix)
2. Angel City feat. Lara McAllen - 24/7 (2-4 Grooves Remix)
3. Celine Dion - Taking Chances (Ralphi Rosario & Craig J's Vocal Mix)
4. Erika Jayne - Stars (Moto Blanco Remix)
5. Paris Hilton - Nothing In This World (Dave Aude Vocal Mix)
6. Jennifer Lopez - Hold It, Don't Drop It (Moto Blanco Remix)
