As with Give It Up, ETW's Stay Together is featured on both the album Ain't Nobody Dyin' But Us and the Extended Play Remixes album.

As The Deer is a slow-tempo, R&B-infused rendition on the album Nitro Praise 2, which is produced by Scott Blackwell.

This is track 11 on Nonstop Christian Dance Mixes #14-15.

This is a remix album of praise & worship songs by Dunamis. As a whole, this album is pretty disappointing in terms of dance remixes. This track, though, is pretty good, albeit slower-tempo.

Church Of Rhythm - Take Back The Beat (Boom Boom Remix)

COR was a short-lived pop/rock/dance group. They put out two albums and one remix album. The problem with this group, in my opinion, is that they couldn't decide what genre they wanted to be. Sometimes their songs were full-on rock; other times, their songs would be pop/dance.

Brent Jones - Get Up (Mixdown Remix)

This is track 6 on Nonstop Christian Dance Mixes #14-15.

I had not heard of Brent Jones before this Mixdown remix album. I presume he's a gospel singer.

T-Bone, if you couldn't tell from the album cover, is a rapper.

This is a 2003 remix of the song that was originally from dc Talk's 1992 album Free At Last.

John Reuben - Divine Inspiration

This is track 3 on Nonstop Christian Dance Mixes #14-15.

John Reuben is a hip-hop artist who caught the attention of dc Talk's Toby McKeehan and was subsequently signed to TobyMac's Gotee Records label.

I don't usually do hip-hop tracks in my DJ mixes, but thought I'd stretch my boundaries a little :)

Shine - Higher Love

It's a cover of the 80s song by Steve Winwood. In this version, the UK group Shine sing about the higher love from God.

Phenomania - Who Is Elvis

Almost all the individual tracks used in Nonstop Energy Mixes #47-48 are still easily available in the marketplace as of this writing, so out of respect for the artists, I won't be posting them.

However, one track in that DJ mix is Phenomania's "Who Is Elvis", which is definitely not still out in stores. You can check it out with the link below.

A group called Interactive also made a version of this song but it's not as good as Phenomania's beat, in my opinion. I still have this old-skool techno classic on vinyl!

This is my latest Christian dance mix. It's a one-hour DJ mix (1:01:09) that is a lot more urban (hip-hop, rap) in flavor than the mixes I usually do.

This DJ mix includes fresh remixes of several popular Christian songs, as well as four original singles from the 90s (1992's Lean On Me by dc Talk, 1994's Lovely Day by Out of Eden, 1995's Life After Death by T-Bone, and 1999's As The Deer by Nitro Praise).

Here is 80s mix #5. It features soundbites from the animated Pixar film Cars for entertainment purposes. It also includes a remix of the infamous Chicago Bears' Super Bowl Shuffle from 1985. This mix is 31 minutes long.

Hello!

Mild-mannered software guy by day, mad-mixin' DJ by night (still mild-mannered, though).

As DJ Colicky Boy, I was the resident DJ on three Live365 webcasts several years ago: club dance mixes, 80s mixes, and Christian dance mixes.

Since then, I've been layin' low. I've still been mixing...albeit at an, ahem, more leisurely pace. I finally decided to put up this dance mix blog so people can grab my mixes online rather than me burning mix CDs for them. I am nothing if not lazy.

My tastes run from trance to 80s to eurodance to Christian dance to club to fried chicken. If you have good remixed tunes to point me to, give me a holler.
